The Pender ‘5’

Event Description:

Drawing inspiration from the legendary art salons of 1920s Paris, The Pender ‘5’ was an event I curated and produced that showcased the exceptional talents of five Vancouver artists: Christian Nicolay, Scott Plear, Darrell Underschultz, Adrian Livesley, and Frank Vena.

Event Concept:

The concept behind Pender ‘5’ was born from my deep appreciation for art history and love for the film "Midnight in Paris." My vision was to recreate the ambiance of the Parisian art salon, capturing the intellectual and artistic vibrancy that once thrived in the City of Light and transplant it into Vancouver.  

The event aimed to foster meaningful connections and conversations between artists, collectors, and the wider community, creating a dynamic and interactive space for artistic exchange.
